I finally watched the Barry Goldwater documentary on HBO. If you haven't, I hope you'll make time for it!

To me, the most amazing part was the parade of Liberals (Walter Kronkite, Hillary Clinton, Al Franken, and etc.) who tried to "rehabilitate" the man. Luckily, the Senator was so very much his own person, that the real man shone through!

There still are a few folks who think Conservatives should stand for limited government and personal liberty, (including the liberty to make dreadful and idiotic mistakes!) -I wish there were more of them.

Alvaro Vargas Llosa has a great review of the film. (You've got to respect economists who get real death threats!)
